Ryann Priest

• Staff RN for Medical/Surgical ICU.
• Provides high quality care for a wide variety of critical care patients, encapsulating all interventions within Critical Care RN scope of practice.
• Participates in Code situations; BLS/ACLS Certified.
• Manages ventilated/sedated patients, central lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, all other invasive lines, continuous ECG monitoring.
• Manages all pharmacological drips, including vasoactive/sedative drips.
• Collaborates with physicians from all disciplines including Critical Care Team (MD/Fellow/Pharmacist) and Cardiothoracic Surgeons to provide/manage care for critically ill patients.
• Collaborates with and educates patient/family as appropriate in a critical care setting.
• Provides end of life cares for patient/family as appropriate in a critical care setting.

· Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals

· Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the patient to the nursing supervisor
