As an Assistant Superintendent, I currently oversee daily construction activities at the Venetian and Venezia Hotel Towers, ensuring projects align with our plans and deadlines. I coordinate subcontractors, facilitate smooth workflows, and uphold safety standards by enforcing OSHA regulations. By proactively identifying and resolving issues, I minimize delays and maintain efficiency. Additionally, I foster strong relationships with subcontractors, mediate conflicts, and ensure quality work through regular inspections and supervision.

As a dedicated Project Coordinator, my role was to oversee the successful execution of Project Blue in Las Vegas. My responsibilities were guided by safety, communication, collaboration, and efficient problem-solving.

My day began with a focus on coordination and communication. I employed a range of tools to maintain and coordinate work with project managers, superintendents, general foremen, and foremen on the project. This ensured that the day started on the right track, allowing me to address immediate concerns while facilitating outstanding tasks.

Working closely with many different colleagues, I addressed unfinished work and promptly devised effective solutions to tackle project-related issues. Our collective problem-solving approach ensured that the project remained on schedule.

A central aspect of my role involved creating and managing punch lists using the Finish Line application. These lists meticulously detail unfinished work on a room by room basis, serving as a comprehensive reference for my team, subcontractors, and project development.

I collaborated with Finish Line's development team to continually update and maintain portions of the application's interface. This ongoing partnership ensured that the tool remains optimized for our project's needs, enhancing its effectiveness.

Another role of mine on the project was to manage the health inspections for the property's front and back-of-house kitchen and bar venues. Working directly with our subcontractors and the Southern Nevada Health District, we meticulously identified and addressed any violations that could have hindered venue operations. Coordinating efforts among numerous subcontracting companies and over 30 individuals, I created detailed inspection schedules, documented health violations, and communicated findings from the Southern Nevada Health Department, all to uphold the highest standards of safety and hygiene across the property.

In summary, as a Project Coordinator at Project Blue, my specific role revolved around proactive communication, field management, and collaborative problem-solving. With the knowledge and experience I gained from this position, my goal is to transition into that of a Project Engineer. This will allow me to learn more about the industry, gaining insights into what it takes to effectively manage and oversee projects with the aim to one day become a Project Manager.

As a certified truck driver, I played a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while prioritizing safe driving. This involved creating error-free pre-trip plans and maintaining open communication lines with dispatch and customers throughout the process.

As a student, I demonstrated my comprehensive abilities and a dedication to learning. I used my analytic processes to determine the most pertinent information, helping me progress further, faster. In my role as a Lead Server, I developed strong relationships with both team members and regular customers, fostering a positive and welcoming atmosphere. My day started and ended with inventory intake. I would then direct emerging staff into there roles and sections for the day or evening. Directly notify management with a shift synopsis at the beginning and end of every shift once my team was up and running or clocked out for their shift. I as well would take on sections of tables, efficiently handling five to seven per section. Utilized a POS system to streamline order placement and bill management. To provide exceptional service, I always kept a respectful and hospitable demeanor, extensive menu knowledge, and readily addressed inquiries about ingredient sourcing and cooking methods. By displaying enthusiasm and promoting excellent service, I successfully boosted Yelp reviews and attracted repeat business. Additionally, I effectively resolved and mitigated any guest and employee complaints ensuring customer satisfaction and a productive team.

A sophisticated boutique hotel in Las Vegas known for its elegant accommodations and refined dining experiences. As a bar apprentice for both The Nomad and Park MGM, I embodied the Nomad ethos with my attention to detail, extensive beverage knowledge, and an enthusiasm for high-quality service. When assisting bartenders, I anticipated their needs with foresight and exercised critical analysis to promptly address any requirements. By providing seamless support, I allowed the bartenders to focus on creating memorable experiences for our guests.

In my role as a bar porter, I took responsibility for the maintenance and cleanliness of each bar at the pool. At the beginning and end of each service period, I efficiently cleaned each bar area and provided its corresponding supply order, ensuring the proper allocation of product. Delivered and maintained pressurized carbon canisters and ice machines. Diligently replaced empty kegs and syrup bibs. Maintained a clean environment for employees and guests, as I consistently collected trash, wiped up spills, and removed debris. Additionally, I used my analytic ability to manage the organization of our pool storage areas while assisting in the rearrangement of the pool layout when needed.

In my role, I prioritized guest satisfaction by warmly greeting and assisting guests upon arrival, fostering positive rapport, and encouraging customer retention. Handling a high volume of check-ins, my team and I efficiently managed over three hundred daily. To enhance the guest experience, I streamlined the check-in process, reducing wait times and increasing guest satisfaction. Additionally, I served as a reliable source of information, promptly answering guest inquiries and providing details about hotel services and amenities. Managing financial transactions was a key responsibility, as I collected and processed room deposits, fees, and payments accurately. I also generated reports that outlined daily guest numbers, accounting expenses and income, and room service usage. By collaborating closely with team members, I ensured smooth handling of guest requirements and a relaxed work environment.

In my role at the camp, I prioritized building positive relationships with campers by fostering a fun and stress-free environment for their enjoyment. I actively contributed to the setup of camp activities and course obstacles, ensuring everything was prepared for a memorable experience. Engaging in daily camp activities, including songs, dances, and campfires, allowed me to create lasting memories for the campers and myself. I facilitated their overall experience through various activities such as camping, rock-climbing, canoeing, swimming, and games, ensuring their safety and enjoyment throughout. Additionally, I took personal responsibility for maintaining a safe and carefree environment for both campers and staff by upholding proficiency in first responder skills, including First Aid and CPR.
