I was fortunate enough to work in a face paced environment that required speed, organization, critical thinking and customer service. Our family ran restaurant located in Lodi California attracted many tourists and allowed me to gain experience in the art of communication. I find this to be a very valuable skillset that i will take with me to any job i obtain. below are list of responsibilities and duties i had as a food runner/busser

• Deliver Food Accurately: Make sure the correct food is delivered to the correct table, matching the order ticket.
• Assist Waitstaff: Help servers with tasks like clearing tables, refilling drinks, and ensuring guests have everything they need.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the dining area tidy, including clearing tables, removing used dishes, and wiping down surfaces.
• Follow Sanitation Standards: Maintain hygiene standards to ensure food safety and a clean dining environment.
• Setting Tables: Assist with preparing tables before service, setting silverware, napkins, and other items.
• Customer Service: Answer basic customer questions about the menu and specials.
• Communication: Relay information between the kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Assisting with Closing Procedures: Help with cleaning and closing tasks at the end of the service.

I successfully launched my own landscaping business in the summer of 2023 and I was able to generate enough revenue to buy my own truck. I currently have 10 loyal customers that I maintain seasonally. My goal is to switch careers and find a more stable income that will help prepare me for adulthood! some of my responsibilities include but are not limited to the following listed below.

• Planting: Planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and grass, ensuring proper spacing and care.
• Lawn Care: Mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating lawns to maintain their health and appearance.
• Hardscaping: Installing and maintaining hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and water features.
• Maintenance: Pruning, trimming, weeding, mulching, and removing dead plants or debris.
• Pest Control: Applying pesticides and herbicides to control pests and weeds.
• Irrigation: Installing, maintaining, and adjusting irrigation systems.
• Seasonal Clean-up: Removing leaves, snow, and other debris during different seasons.
• Site Preparation: Preparing the soil for planting, grading, and installing features.
• Customer Service: Advising clients on landscape design, maintenance, and plant selection.
• Equipment Operation: Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment like mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
• Plant Health: Monitoring plant health and addressing issues like pests, diseases, and environmental stressors.

• Loaded and unloaded building and construction materials to prepare for tasks.
• Maintained safe working environments through proper storage of tools, materials, and equipment.
• Enhanced construction efficiency by assisting in the preparation and organization of job sites.
• Prepared surfaces for painting or finishing through sanding, cleaning, and other preparatory tasks as needed.
