Work History

Manufacturing Engineer

Safran Electrical and Power
10.2023 - Current
  • Provide daily floor support to a team of 50-70 employees including standard process procedures, part conditioning and quality analysis, and updates to work instructions or engineering
  • Analyze changes between revisions of engineering and provide a comprehensive analysis of changes as well as specific instructions for operators based on the current stage in production
  • Pareto principle applied to highlight low-revenue part numbers focused on efficiencies
  • Conduct engineering analyses and interviews with team members in order to provide them with materials or processes that will aid production
  • Communicate updates to engineering to drafting, production control, and quality departments, as well as validating drawing updates made by drafting
  • Collaborating with Quality Engineer to evaluate defects and determine corrective actions to prevent future defects from occurring repeatedly
  • Use Excel along with SAP to create monthly efficiency reports, calculating the next four months projected efficiency
  • Use Excel to show the best average time spent on select part numbers in order to aid in efficiency efforts
  • Use TipQA in order to access all requests for support and provide instructions on how to proceed
  • Use SAP in order to find specific shop orders, check prices for materials, print paperwork for builds, and find vendors and batch information pertaining to material used on a build
  • Attend customer calls in order to discuss questions and provide updates on improvements made throughout the program
  • Aid digital transformation team to digitize work instructions and drawings using vFast
  • Lead multiple different projects to improve the efficiency and functionality of the shop floor

Engineering Technician

Eaton Cooper Power Systems
04.2022 - 08.2023
  • Conduct lean manufacturing and continuous improvement throughout the plant
  • Find intentional storage solutions for highlighted areas of issue
  • Pareto principle applied to highlight low-volume material and manage flow of material throughout the plant
  • Use SAP to coordinate information with engineers on material movement and deviations of material for different orders
  • Use SAP to gather receipt sizes, average weekly, monthly, and future usage values
  • Use Excel to create pivot tables and congregate information on material
  • Consolidate material to one type with help of engineering
  • Host meetings with buyers, vendors, and engineers to advance projects
  • Be point of contact for vendors and buyers for usage data throughout the plant
  • Communicate with supervisors on shop floor to implement new systems

Leadership Experience

  • Cutlines Project, 01/01/24 - 02/02/2024 - Assessed connector and backshell combinations to determine cutline for wire, so the connector will align properly with the aircraft once it is received by the customer, led with a team of 7 and coordinated with upper management as well as the operators on the floor to capture these measurements, and attended meetings with upper management for status acting as the representative for the team and the project.
  • VFAST LED Board Project, 10/01/23 - Present - Digitized drawings on the floor by transferring drawing enhancements to LED boards to improve efficiencies and bypass the pre-planning phase for operators on the floor, selected the scope for all work cells that would be applicable for this enhancement, evaluated enhanced drawings on the LED board to assess for any issues that need to be addressed before launching to operators, communicated engineering requirements to enhancement team in order to create drawings properly, and submitted requests for fully validated harnesses to be released on web for use of the operators in the plant.
