- Worked as a hotel employee in a new environment, I had to use the skill of adapting to new surroundings quickly. Some of the responsibilities I had were cleaning the hotel rooms and resetting the beds after guests left, washing dishes at the restaurant of the hotel along with many other duties throughout my stay there. I was able to find myself adjusting to my new life quickly and following the instructions with ease all while learning German. While living in Austria, I was able to travel to other countries by navigating the train system as well. I developed a love for those different from me and my upbringing and appreciate the diversity of the European people.
