• Provide comprehensive nursing care for critically ill cardiovascular and medical intensive care patients in a 12-bed Cardiac ICU.
• Care for CABG, valve replacement, TAVR, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, and advanced heart failure patients.
• Manage advanced critical care therapies including mechanical ventilation, arterial lines, central venous catheters, Swan-Ganz catheters, Impella, IABP, CRRT, temporary transvenous pacemakers, chest tubes, and thrombolytics catheters.
• Titrate vasoactive, inotropic, vasodilator, antiarrhythmic, anticoagulant, insulin, and sedation infusions according to patient conditions and evidence-based protocols.
• Rapidly recognize and respond to hemodynamic instability, dysrhythmias, and other life-threatening changes in patient condition.
• Serve as Charge Nurse, coordinating patient flow, supporting staff, and assisting with unit operations during high-acuity shifts.
• Precept newly hired nurses, providing education, clinical guidance, and mentorship to promote safe, evidence-based practice.

• Prioritize care for multiple patients while responding efficiently to changing clinical conditions.
• Deliver safe, patient-centered care for adults with acute and chronic medical-surgical conditions.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, and coordinate interdisciplinary care to promote optimal patient outcomes.
