Work History

BOEING COMPANY
01.2019 - Current
  • - My role on our team is very important to not just to the company but also my specific area
  • Due to my 3 years of experience at Boeing I have been able to gain much knowledge about how to do our job here at Boeing
  • In return, there have been multiple times where my manager has come to me specifically and asked me to train new hires to our area and have them shadow me for an entire shift and sometimes multiples shifts, so they can visually learn from me and watch and learn how we preform our work, while still being able to ask me questions and i provide them with answering
  • - working with specific tools dedicated to my job such as soldering iron, sharp cutting tools, crimping tools for conductors, high heat tools
  • - my job is to build loose electrical wires that will later get installed on the airplane
  • This wire process consists of soldering wires with high heat and melting lead to create conductivity, using heavy machines to install conductors at the end of each wire I am working on
  • - using a computer to research and look up specific wire specs and documents in the company's database to find my required cut length, find out which conductor to use for each specific part of the plane I'm working on
  • - Attend specific classes needed in my work area to gain access and authority to a certain certification that is required in my area, which allows me to work on my difficult parts oof the airplane
  • - double-checking the quality on our product to make sure it is up to spec and meets the safety requirements for the airplane
