I joined the U.S. Army, spending 6 years becoming efficient in Air Defense Operations, Airborne Operations, and Special Operations. Volunteering for deployments to protect my fellow soldiers. During that time, I learned discipline, understanding & completing tasks, working in stressful environments, working under duress, time management, leadership, working with other ethnic groups to complete a task or tasks. I earned Top Gun twice in 3 years as a Gunner and Team Chief in Air Defense Operations, becoming the only one to achieve that goal twice. I had volunteered for the Special Forces Qualification Course and Airborne School, graduating in the top of the class in both. Eventually ending my time in service in early 2004. Later that year, I started my career in the oil & gas industry in underbalanced wells, where the stress levels may have been high, but proved to be easily manageable due to my previous experience in mitigating & navigating high stress environments. After years of dedication, I began working as a Rig Manager in 2011 in North Dakota, where I was able to hone my skill of leading people to become the best version of themselves, for each other, & the company. I am a firm believer that people do not quit companies, they quit people. I strive to build the right culture & support the men and women of our industry so the results will shine through. I have experience working in underbalanced wells, tight formations, MPD operations in the U.S. & Saudi Arabia. Working in different areas, such as these, has given me experience that is second to none.
