• Monitoring of routine and special maintenance tasks conducted at the Lahore converter station on the 660 kV Matiari-Lahore HVDC line, Pakistan's first and currently only operational HVDC transmission line. Built, owned and operated by the State Grid Corporation of China.
• Producing technical reports pertaining to primary and secondary system maintenance, equipment testing (thyristor valve, transformer oil, CT, CB, equipment insulation) and shutdown maintenance.
• Ultraviolet and infrared inspection of all primary and secondary converter station equipment, from valve halls to secondary panels, to detect existing and developing faults.

Recognition:

• Recommended by head of secondary maintenance as focal person to NTDC (National Transmission and Dispatch Company) for Lahore Converter Station protection system events' data.

• Obtained hands-on training for ABB, Schneider Electric and NR Electric digital protection relays.
• Designed MATLAB models of small-capacity power plants.
• Led a fault study at the 7.64 MW Marala Hydropower Plant for a fault which occurred on the 23rd of October 2020. Developed an ETAP model, downloaded and investigated fault information and waveforms. Helped prepare an investigative report.

• Training, conducted virtually owing to COVID-19 restrictions, focused on the production of digital energy meters.
• Gained familiarity with production processes and standards from a major provider of energy metering devices in Pakistan.
