My goal is to obtain an esthetician position with a Day Spa or Wellness Center where I can contribute as part of a team while continuing to advance and improve upon my skillset. I recently retired after serving many years in the Federal Government and now have the time to follow my passions. I’ve owned my own business since 2017, Sabrina’s Spa Shop, and until now, it has been a side hustle. I’m striving to change that by creating and finishing near term goals such as attaining my estheticians license so that I can provide further value to my customers. Why skin care you might ask? I have had multiple skin cancers and various surgeries to remove them over the years. I have had multiple chemical peels to treat pre-cancers in hopes they do not become cancer. I have gone through the pain and agony of various procedures and know the emotional toll it takes on a person to not look and feel their best. I have had numerous facials and used whatever products were recommended to me without batting an eye and trusting that those who served me were recommending the right products for my skin type and condition, and while most products worked great, some caused me harm. I no longer want to blindly follow what is prescribed. I want to be part of the solution in understanding and helping to educate, protect, nourish, and treat clients skin conditions while causing no harm and adding value to their lives. With over 20 years of experience as a spa customer, I can offer great incite as to what a customer values and what will keep them coming back.
