DECA Goals:

If I was selected I would....

  • Rigorously pursue the 10/10/10 initiative by meeting with local chapters and explaining the importance of the initiative. I think currently, there are many chapters in District 6 that could use more encouragement to fulfill their quotas.
  • Establish a comprehensive communication system that remains uniform across ALL District 6 Chapters. Currently, there are many discrepancies in communication between and inside chapters, which leads to inefficiency and confusion.
  • Create a comprehensive DECA guide for all incoming DECA members to allow for the highest level of retention. Based on my observations, many new DECA members in District 6 are uncertain of the processes of DECA and what their role is. This often results in frustration and leads a decrease in new members.
  • Launch an intensive advertising campaign to recruit as many new DECA members as possible through both social media and physical means, and support local chapter expansions to support a growing community
  • Prioritize fun, inclusivity, and excellence in DECA ideals; encourage every member to BE THE ONE
