I am at my Junior level. Previously, after my A levels or high school, I got to experience working as a Cash Incentive Auditor at Acnabin and that’s a chartered accountant firm in Bangladesh. Mainly, I had to deal with import and export documents, and check and verify them to make sure everything is okay to facilitate trade. Moreover, I also worked at Pitney Bowes and that’s a mail sorting company. I worked as a Mail sorter over there. Though it is not related to my career still I got to learn so many things about the company and also it gave me a chance to communicate and build a network with professionals which will surely help me in the future. I should say I enjoy networking with experts from many businesses in order to expand my understanding of the worldwide globe. I am an excellent student, observer, and listener. Understanding other people and hearing their perspectives is one of my favorite things. I enjoy being a leader at my own speed and making my own decisions. My own set of experiences as a person via working, traveling, and connecting with people has taught me the most. Being here at UTA, I am learning a lot of theories and processes regarding Accounting and Finance. I have also recently joined the Texas societies of CPAs and I will be joining events starting next month. I believe that will help me to learn more regarding my career and also build a good network with talented individuals. I feel like UTA has taught and prepared me enough and I think it is time to apply that knowledge in practice.
I, Sadaf Ahmed, hereby declare that all the details furnished above are true to the best of my knowledge.
