  • Optimizing Traffic Signal Control: A Comparative Analysis of Fully-Actuated, Actuated-Coordinated, and Customized Models

Evaluated and compared three traffic signal control models to optimize traffic flow on a Cedar Rapids corridor using VISSIM and Vistro. 

  • Safety Management and Countermeasure Evaluation for Crashes in Southeast Michigan

Analyzed crash data using the Empirical Bayes method to identify high-risk areas and propose countermeasures to reduce crashes.

  • Evaluating E-Scooters as a Sustainable Alternative to Motor Vehicles in Atlanta Using VISSIM Micro-Simulation

Simulated e-scooter integration into Atlanta’s urban traffic network and analyzed its impact on travel times, delays, and queue lengths. 

  • Pedestrian Underpass: Improved Connectivity within BUET

 Designed a pedestrian underpass to improve connectivity and safety within the BUET campus using structural analysis with ETABS.
