I have experience in Elementary, Junior High, and High School special education from a teaching and interventionist standpoint. I have also been directly involved in implementation of April Dunn procedures, development of the April Dunn manual, updates to transition processes, implementation of goalbook, and revision of both the policy procedure and IEP manuals. I have successfully mentored Special Education teachers on all levels and collaborated with principals and stakeholders effectively. I feel that my extensive knowledge of special education laws and processes and experience mentoring teachers makes me uniquely suited for this position.
