I have been a team manager for girls' volleyball and boys' baseball for two years. Before I transferred, I was also a team manager for wrestling. As a team manager, my duties vary depending on the sport. For volleyball, my job is crucial to the game since I am in charge of the book, which has the score, the correct rotation for serving, and helps the referee when there is a possible mistake on the players' behalf. My duties for managing baseball are setting up charts, taking pictures and videos of the team, creating hype videos, and choosing the hype man of the game after we get a win. Whoever wins “Hype Man,” I will bake them two chocolate chip cookies. As a wrestling manager, I kept score at all the matches, and made sure the practice area was organized. Managing is a heavy time commitment since I have to attend team meetings throughout the year and every game during the season of the sport, while baseball is in the spring, volleyball is in the fall, and wrestling is in the winter.
