Currently, I work on tenant improvement projects to redesign existing or new office spaces and improve employee productivity. During the renovation project, I serve as the liaison between the client, project (or building) manager, and contractor. I support the client in defining the project goals, setting a timeline, creating a budget, identifying roles and responsibilities, assigning tasks, setting the expectations of what will be delivered or completed, and revising layout and design per clients' request, and communicating that among all involved teams. I manage the scope of all furniture, custom millwork, wall, and flooring finishes, and RCP design.
Selected to be the first internal facility designer for CCRC that served their (6) corporate offices , (10+) child care centers, and (1) central kitchen across Los Angeles, Sacramento, and San Bernadino counties. I supported the facility director with planning employee growth, reconfiguring and improving work areas, designing communal areas & VPs' offices, offering MAC and RTO services, and helping with employee retention by offering more within the office setting, such as incorporating ergonomics and design perks to improve well-being. My scope was to focus on areas of interest within each building and bring them to life using internal and external resources. Overall, facility budgets I was involved in exceeded $3 million yearly.
Chosen from 8 candidates to be the main SoCal Campus CAD Designer and
coordinator managing the CAD work of 20+ buildings, and working directly
with Apple employees, workplace and building managers, project managers, mail and shipping, maintenance, health and safety, security, janitorial, receptionists, furniture dealership, MAC (Moves, Adds, and Changes), warehouse operations and delivery, and other vendors. Involved in tenant improvement and in-house projects, and monitored a delegated crew which supported with vetting and furniture installs.
Chosen from 3 candidates to work with two teams within the Netflix workplace and planning divisions serving on two locations, Hollywood and Los Gatos corporate headquarters. Selectively chosen to work closely with Netflix program specialist to launch the Netflix international corporate and studio offices online and managed their CAFM system. Involved in the hiring process and training new peers while working on personal and group projects and managing my own due date in a very fast pace environment.
