I wanted to pursue a career in the medical field and applied at Taft collage in order to accomplish prerequisites in order to apply for the medical assistant program at Bakersfield Adult School. After getting accepted into the program and graduating from the program I was hired on by the training site where I spent almost 3 years building my medical field foundation. Once I had wanted to further my career I applied for the LVN program at Bakersfield Adult School which I graduated in May 2016. Just a few months after graduating I took my state test and passed which allowed me to get my first job as an LVN as a infertility nurse in San Luis Obispo. After two years building my knowledge as a LVN I was able to apply for Dignity Health as a lead LVN running a wing of 24 patients with two CNAs under me.
