Academic Projects

  • Successfully led a team of 3 students to design an AI-based algorithm as a software engineering project for detecting network anomaly from KDD99 Dataset. Python Programming, Linear SVM, KNN algorithm and Naive Bayes algorithm are used to implement this project.The design of Intrusion Detection System with high efficiency has become very challenging. We implemented different algorithms to acquire the best algorithm that produces most efficient results.
  • I have built classifiers and applied them on a dataset containing 20,000 documents and assessed their performance utilizing KNN (K-Nearest neighbor), SVM (Support Vector Machine) and a manually built Naive Bayes Classifier.
  • Created a model which is trained to detect semantic meaning between text pairs, using Python programming language, Logistic regression and Linear SVM algorithms.
  • Created front-end of the online Airline booking web application using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Special features like calculations of prices and seat vacancy are implemented dynamically using JavaScript.
