This was an event called HackAutism where we learned how to code with HTML and Java. We learned this in order to create a website to advertise a video game that would be appealing for people with autism. We worked with many kids with autism to gain insight on what they may look for in a video game that satisfies their needs such as stimming. With the collaboration of our groups, we were able to create code for a website along with the idea for a game that would help to satisfy the needs of these children while being enjoyable for everyone. We worked on this throughout the event and presented our idea to 300+ people at the event.
