Rector Bridge Demolition: $6M Rector Street Pedestrian Bridge Demolition and Community Garden Improvement

• Managed the extensive coordination with external stakeholders including CDOT, SDOT, NYPD, FDNY and community - completed 2021

Atlantic Avenue Extension (0.86acre, $15M) Roadway and Park:

• Successfully completed the decade long transportation improvement project in Jamaica Queens.

Managed all stages of construction and completion of project including close out- completed 2020

• West Thames Pedestrian Bridge $33M, 230 feet lenticular truss pedestrian bridge across the West Side Highway- completed 2020
• Linden Place U-Turn: $4.5M Whitestone Expressway Eastbound to Westbound U-turn project allowing free flow of traffic below the expressway and alleviating local traffic in the college point area- completed 2019
• Saw Mill Creek Wetland Mitigation (53 acre, $15M budget): Wetland Mitigation project for the creation of the first mitigation bank in NYC- completed 2019
• Water Siphon (2 mile tunnel, $294M budget): Backup water supply infrastructure to the borough of Staten Island under budget and ahead of USACE dredge schedule. Involved extensive coordination multiple stakeholders including DEP, Port Authority of NY/NJ, USACE, US Coast Guard, NYSDOT, and MTA Completed- 2018

• Fox Square Plaza (6,000 sq.ft., $2.2M budget) Pedestrian plaza with seating and tables, drinking fountain, trees, and intersection roadway marking and DEP utility improvements-completed 2015
• West 8th street Pedestrian Bridge Demolition ($3.5M budget): Demolition of the decrepit pedestrian access bridge in Coney Island. Successfully closed out the project permit and obtained final sign off from MTA and NYCDOT-completed 2015
• West 10th Street Plaza and Boardwalk Entrance (12,000 sq.ft., $3.5M budget) Pedestrian-oriented arrival area with tiered seating area, raised concrete planters, ADA access ramp and lightings-completed 2016
• Strand Theater (65,000 sq.ft., $37M budget) renovation of cultural space housing BRIC Art Media and Urban Glass. Obtained Final C of O and completed Day 2 work- completed 2017
• Caribbean Cultural Centre and African Diaspora (CCCADI) (10,000sq, ft, $8M budget): Four story cultural spaces which served as a new home for CCCADI team- completed 2017
• ElMuseo del Barrio (4.2M budget): HVAC upgrade and environmental stabilization of the galleries, theatre, office and classroom space and cafe- completed 2017

• Managed the construction of streetscape projects estimated over $6M
• Managed the Jamaica Redevelopment projects through the approval from all regulatory agencies
• Provided regular updates of all projects to senior management

• Inspected dwellings to ensure adequacy of egress through fire escape and access to roof
• Inspected for adequacy of lighting and heating, ventilation, and plumbing facilities in dwellings
• Investigated complaints and made emergency inspections of hazardous conditions created by explosions or fires and prepared reports of inspections with floor diagram for the official records of the Department.

• Supervised acquisition of several telecommunication cell sites based on criteria for security, terrain and access which costs over $30,000
• Managed construction of telecommunication base stations by coordinating with engineering contractors and monitoring their work progress to ensure compliance with contract scope of work, specification, budget, and quality control
