Provided academic and program support for LaunchX’s 2025 summer entrepreneurship programs, overseeing curriculum logistics and daily operations. Supported and mentored 150+ young founders over four intensive weeks, guiding them as they built real, revenue-generating businesses from the ground up. Collaborated with instructors, mentors, and staff to create an engaging and impactful learning environment.
Led the launch and coordination of AwardX East Africa, LaunchX’s first-ever pitch competition on the continent, focused on empowering high school innovators across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania,Ethiopia and beyond. Oversaw outreach to over 800+schools, engaged hundreds of students, and coordinated judges, webinars, and mentorship resources to guide participants from idea to pitch.
AwardX East Africa received over 300+ submissions tackling real-world challenges — showcasing the untapped potential of Africa’s next generation of founders. My role involved strategy, stakeholder engagement, partnership building, and regional execution to ensure a meaningful and inclusive student entrepreneurship experience.

At NALA, one of Africa’s fastest-growing fintech platforms transforming cross-border payments for the diaspora, I support community-led growth initiatives focused on awareness, adoption, and grassroots engagement. NALA enables secure, fast, and low-cost remittances to Africa — with real-time exchange rates, no hidden fees, and direct mobile wallet and bill payment integrations like M-PESA.
Through local events, diaspora activations, and creator-driven campaigns, I’ve contributed to spreading NALA’s mission across communities in the U.S. and East Africa — helping connect people to better, more transparent financial tools that serve both them and their loved ones back home.
