- Maintained and operating four 500 hp Hurst Boilers of high-pressure steam for the main hospital at Fort Belvoir military base.
- Operating and maintaining six Carrier chillers at the cup and each chiller at 1,800 tonnages
- Performs AHU pm and replacing air filters, belts, grease motor bearings, cleaned coils.
- Cleaning the cooling towers annually, performing pm on bearings, belts, strainers, cooling tower nozzles, flow switches, sump heaters inside tower.
- Replaced condenser/chiller water pump seal and preventive maintenance.
- Performed compressor air receiver tank, change compressor oil, change belts, change filter, checked air leak all bolt and joints, test automatic blow down.
- Cleaning cooling strainers and cleaning all debris and sands in the strainers and bags.
- Performing all sump pump, sewage pump, domestic water pumps throughout the Cup power plant.
- Operating 4 big generator caterpillar 2000kw weekly test with the GAS engineers and Master electrician.
- Operating and maiming six 100 hp condenser water pumps, six 110 hp chiller water pumps, and six 50 hp cooling tower motors.
- Prepare to shutoff the boiler and chillers for pm, cleaning tubes with the Goodway machine and inspection all manholes. Gaskets and replaced each time the are opened for the pm.
- Services all hot water circulating pumps on the boilers and hot water heater pumps.
- Performing daily close and open loop chemical reading
- Performing chiller cleaning on the condenser and evaporator tubing
- Services all filters dryer on the chillers and performing refrigeration oil change on the chillers.
- Recording all plant and chillers reading logs
- Performing monthly preventive maintenance tickets from service trackers software
- Running services tickets hot and cold calls daily as needed during plant watch.
- Blow down boiler and checking all LWCO and check boiler operation during blow down.
- Replaced all low- and high-pressure gauges for the close and open loop.
- Familiar operating all EMS system on Siemen and Johnson Control, and able to bypass the EMS system when the EMS system lost communication.
- Cover shift when engineers are out sick or on vacation.
- Willing to work hard and learning from others.
- Trouble shooting basic electrical, lighting, ballasts, motor, and low voltage electrical.
- Installed new HVAC split system, and trouble shooting.
- Familiar Cup plant plumbing, replace new faucets, toilets, Sloan valves, back flow preventer.
