I am part of a highly specialized team supporting the company's core LNG operation and contributing to the North Field Expansion (NFE) Project, the world's largest LNG development, which aims to significantly boost Qatar's LNG production capacity.

Acid gas removal unit having operation capability to process of 1600 MMSCFD acid gases (H2S, CO2 & COS) by using OASE purple solvent, licensed by BASF
Dehydration section consists of adsorbent beds contain layers of suitable grade of molecular sieve to perform selective adsorption of water (H2O), mercaptans (RSH) and H2S from sweet gas. The beds are thermally regenerative by N2 rich fuel gas obtained from Nitrogen rejection unit
Mercury removal section designed to remove mercury from dried gas
Regeneration gas treating section by using Selexol solvent to remove H2S and Mercaptans (RSH) from spent regeneration gas coming from Molecular Sieve
NGL Recovery, Supplemental Rectification Process licensed by UOP-Ortloff, designed with flexibility to either recover or reject ethane C2 from dried gas while always maintaining 99% recovery of propane C3 and essentially 100% of the heavier components contained in the feed stream. It is a sour gas sweetening facility having the latest hybrid technology plant i.e. Membrane Technology then Amine Solution (MDEA) due to its high CO2 concentration (45%) in raw gas composition.
