Painter.. experienced painter over 20 years in the industry… paint any surface but specialize in 2 and 3 stage on metal and fiberglass… paint anything from helicopters to boats, any vehicle and even instruments… many years experience with spraying clean and smooth finish… wetsand and buff for optimal finishes… been painting mostly automobiles lately…experience with metallic and solid colors… experience with patterns and signage…

Returned to Southbay collision as main painter. DRP shop.. all insurance work… industry standard… led team of 4 to perform all preping before paint…

Job duties..

- prep and paint all vehicles going through shop… inspect work from body to be up to par with painters requirements..

-oversee quality of work and final product.

-maintain all spraying guns and tools being used in painting department…

-maintain spray booth to proper industry standards…

Took a job after military as a painter and wiring specialist for massive commercial neon sings… union job… worked on every kind of electrical commercial building sign… banks, grocery stores and sky rises in different parts of the country…

Job duties.

-receive design plans of desired look of signage.. make colors on paint machine and prep and paint accordingly.. production shop… busy…

-wire signs according to engineering plan… LED and neon both used… transformer wiring and setup…

-coordinate job duties for team on all projects requiring multiple people…

- upkeep inventory on shop materials…

-order materials as needed.

Entered the Air Force.

Was in charge of new network installations over seas.. job was supposed to be mostly office work but quickly turned into network installations from the ground up… running lan lines through out buildings… setting up hubs… my background in hands on work with machinery and tools was noted early on and it was decided my traits where better used on the field…. My job duties changed with every assignment but where always in the realm of repair, and building maintenance due to my background in tool usage…

Employed as full-blown autobody technician. Performed repairs on all kinds of different collisions.. frame work, welding, and began painting… obtained painting and welding certification..

-Utilized collision repair hammers, welders, grinders ext, to address bodywork needs.

-Installed and removed body panels, doors, fenders, ext, of vehicles to access areas of repair

-Maintained up to standard work environment.. clean and general maintenance on all painting tools, compressors, and booths being used…

-kept up with industry changes being made rapidly as different products being introduced.

First job employed as an autobody technician… no longer a helper…. Still doing light hits…. job duties- - Inspect cars to identify and repair damage.

-Adjust written estimates with correct damage description.

-Order all parts needed to perform job…

-Repair and replace parts as needed up to industry standards.

-Primer and prep for paint after autobody work is performed.

-All work finishes in 320 grit ready for paint.
