  • Daily support to ensure proper reporting has been sent to clients and patients via faxing or interface.

  • Manage all EMR interfaces for the laboratory to client’s office.
  • Maintain all laboratory request of new reference ranges, messages, interfaces with all instruments, label printer’s compendium of all order code and result codes, and loinc codes.
  • Negotiated new networking company contract for Excell Clinical Lab to save 20K per year.
  • Managed the move of Excell Clinical Lab from a 3K square foot building to a new 12K building with all new lab instrumentation and entire new network.

  • Manage the local IT help desk with 5 person team and also manage the Director of Field Services to maintain a great level of service for our clients.
  • Negotiated new networking company contract to save Manhattan Labs 300k per year and assisted networking team transition to a new server environment.
  • Work closely with our off site Networking Company to maintain active directory, email exchange system, domain server, first level and second level IT and maintained server room environment with all network needs.
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of LIS related problems and responsible for daily monitoring of LIS functions.
  • Available for technical support during off hours to ensure operability of the lab 24 hour environment.
  • Preformed daily SQL query reports for finance personal, laboratory personal, and billing personal.
  • Project management including all testing of EMR interfaces with our LIS system for EMR vendors including Cerner, eCW, Allscripts, Practice Fusion, Health Fusion and many others.
  • Worked with two large hospital clients New York and New Jersey area interfaced Sunquest LIS system to Seacoast LIS and maintained file definition in Sunquest for over 4 years.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HL7 messaging standards used for most EMR interfaces.
