SAM GOREN

I am a relatively new student in the Music Industry Program at Drexel University. My love of music prompted me not to be just a consumer, but a creator and someone who helps share it. I initially started playing drums in a structured program called School Of Rock but transitioned to booking, managing and playing in a bunch of bands. I play drums, write and record original music with multiple bands. I am currently in 6 bands that are currently playing shows Philadelphia and touring around throughout parts of the country. After setting up my first show in my garage, I booked shows at established house venues and clubs in Philadelphia and a 9-day tour north through New England and back. After booking (and still booking) shows for my own band, I joined a company called Fortress where I am one of the lead bookers and talent buyers. I have booked 20 shows since January and have ran/organized each one. I am so thankful that I have this experience to connect with people throughout music in so many ways and can't wait to keep learning.
