During my time with the City of Monroe, I was responsible for multiple duties. Mowing, painting, and maintaining Athletic fields during football, and baseball season. Landscaping and maintaining parks owned by the city. Working on Highway mediums with mulching, planting ornamental plants, and mowing/weed eating. Maintaining graveyards with mowing, weed eating, and spraying. Collecting trash throughout the parks and in trash cans downtown.

Leading a crew of men in the landscaping and lawn care field. Daily tasks included, Driving a large landscape truck, mowing, weed eating, spraying, planting shrubs, flowers and ornamental flowers, spreading mulch and pine needles, pruning bushes, and small scale landscaping such as building walls, walkways, and custom plant beds. As the Leader I was responsible for double checking all work that was done and fixing anything wasn’t done to my standards. Attention to Detail and having pride in the work that was done was necessary.
