Sam Marbeiter

I am currently working in Northrop Grumman's launch vehicle division. My primary responsibilities include mixing bonding adhesives, making RTV sheets, and disassembly/reassembly of flight hardware. My current objective is to ensure the parts and structures I work will be thermal protected. I am proficient in understanding and interpreting mechanical drawings. I am also trained and experienced in a variety of hand tools, electric, calibrated, and pneumatic tools.

Transferred to the head quarters unit of the 11TH Air Defense Brigade at Fort Bliss, TX where we over saw all of our missile systems to include Patriot and THAAD. I was a team leader and organizer for unit training. I was responsible for communicating between fire units on possible engagements during training.

Team leader of a small organized group to enhance military operations with US allied military forces in exercise Toborque Legacy. My primary focus was to implement Patriot missile operations into controlled environments with foreign allies. I was responsible for training and coordination between US and NATO forces.

Worked as a team leader in a small group deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. My primary job was to warn US Military and allied military sites in the Central Command area of operations of any aerial or missile threats. I would communicate information to threatened areas in the Middle-East and disseminate information to US controlled missile defense sites. My job also included me to analyze enemy missiles from flight to impact.

Trained on Terminal High Area Air Defense (THAAD) systems as a fire control crew member. Exercised my skills in networking with the THAAD communications between the AN/TPY-2 radar, Control station, and Launcher station.

Developed a cohesive work environment as a team member of the Avenger missile system and Sentinel Radar team. Specialized in networking information from the Sentinel Radar to the Avenger missile system to enhance capabilities. Operated in Avenger reloads and furthered my knowledge in short range missile operations.
