- While waiting out COVID, I took on a job as a full-time bartender at a small Brewery
- Most of us have had jobs in the restaurant or bar industry while in school (and may choose not to put a bartending job on a resume), I found this experience very helpful in developing customer service skills, in a tough environment where repeat customers were essential
- While learning the 'ins and outs' of small breweries, I also gained significant experience in customer relations, money management, organizational skills, and brewery management
- I worked six days a week and usually had eight to ten-hour shifts
- On most occasions, I was the only bartender on duty, and to this day I have nice relationships with my customers
- I still substitute in on occasion, and I am proud to say that my customers are always glad to see me
