Summary

Until recently, I was the chef at a small hunting and fishing lodge called Rack and Reel Montana, but recently decided to leave because I am looking for something that is open year round and less remote. I have worked in restaurants for the last ten years and have been a cook, a barista, and have worked at a brewery. I have always been passionate about all aspects of food and drink preparation and like to maintain a positive attitude and work very well with others. I posses a wide variety of skills and am a very quick learner, who is eager to learn.

  • I am the only cook at a small lodge and take care of breakfast, lunch, appetizers, dinner, desserts, and any cocktails for all of the guests
  • I make a variety of delicious meals that cater to any needs that the guests have and will make cocktails at request
  • There is one person that helps serve and clean up after dinner, but other than that I handle all of the cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, menu planning and other duties
  • I feel like I have provided interesting and delicious meal experience for anyone staying at the lodge, and go out of my way to make them feel special.

  • I primarily ran the sushi station and would also run pizza and fill in on prep when needed.
  • Showed up early to set up the station, make sushi rice, make the sushi rolls, and do any additional prep
  • Made food to order for customers and inspected each item before it was served.
  • Kept each station well prepared and stocked before, and during each shift, and made proper preparations for the next one
  • Cleaned, broke down, and prepared all the fish as it was shipped in whole and fresh
