Developed and maintained CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient software delivery, utilizing Jenkins and Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment of CaC and IaC.
Utilizes Nexus for the storage and distribution of artifacts. Uses Git to push features to codebase, with daily experience in GitLab and GitHub.
Experience working with Docker/Podman to pull or create custom images and push to container registries. Leveraged these container tools to create and work in custom portable dev environments that I created.
Used Azure for infrastructure provisioning and management. Integrated and managed Active Directory for user authentication and access control. Experience in creating Azure resources such as resource groups, VNETs, VMs, AKS clusters, managed identities, users, groups, service principals, key vaults, etc.
Implemented and configured Keycloak to manage identity and access.
Wrote and maintained YAML manifests for deployment to a Kubernetes cluster, proficiently implementing and managing Kubernetes resources, including troubleshooting and resolving related issues.
Used Helm for managing Kubernetes package deployments and Helm charts for specific app deployments. Experience using Helmfile and Go Templating for managing CaC across different environments. Utilized ArgoCD for integration with GitLab and Jenkins. Created my own helm charts for microservice deployments of custom middleware APIs.
Experience standing up Azure PostgreSql databases as well as querying for data and administering database roles. Includes tasks such as database creation, user management, and the implementation of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
Created bash scripts to automate various processes, simplifying day-to-day tasks. Attends daily scrums, follows Agile methodologies, participates in sprint retro meetings, story pointing, and manages tasks in Jira.
Experience as a Jira admin. Created workflows, screens, custom fields, projects, issue types, etc. Develops middleware APIs for use with Jira.
Experience working with Confluence and creating documentation.
Implements new software into the environment securely and efficiently. Works collaboratively in screen shares and works alone as required.
Experience in API development with Python and Flask. Creates middleware endpoints that interface with 3rd party apps to accomplish a variety of tasks. Experience working with JSON.
Provided technical support to development teams by resolving their platform related issues quickly. Provided tech support to customer teams as needed.
Collaborated with stakeholders from different departments to understand user requirements and suggest suitable solutions accordingly.
Developed a custom plugin for Jira in Java to extend the Jira API.
Manages various Kubernetes resources such as config maps, pods, stateful sets, secrets, gateways, deployments, virtual services, volumes, volume mounts, etc.
Experience with extensive troubleshooting in Kubernetes. Reads log errors and resolves problems as needed.
Experience working with Istio.
Experience working within a microservices based architecture.
