Summary

I graduated from the University of Rhode Island, College of Pharmacy, with my Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2002 with honors. My pharmacy career began with CVS Pharmacy in their upcoming leader program, where I worked as a staff pharmacist, team leader, and pharmacy manager at several locations. In 2008, I started looking for hospital experience to broaden my clinical knowledge in an acute care setting with a focus in critical care, bone marrow transplant, oncology and patient safety. With this in mind, I pursued an advanced certification in outpatient diabetes education (CDOE), APhA Delivering Medication Therapy Management Services certificate (MTM) and additionally APhA Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certificate. I also have a background in healthcare IT as I was the product manager of clinical and oncology content with MEDITECH. I am currently licensed in Rhode Island, and I have a strong background in critical care, oncology, bone-marrow transplant, and patient MTM with multiple disease state management.
