As a Student Family Advocate, I plan, seek, and advocate for and monitor services from different social services and staff on behalf of the student. I aim to increase the student’s developmental, problem-solving and coping capacities and provide closure during transitional life events.

• Personal Learning Plans: Develop personalized learning plans with students that cater to their unique strengths and needs.

• Social & Emotional Skill Development: Foster the development of strong social emotional skills through individualized and/or group learning activities and collaboration with outside community partners.

• Leadership Development & Civic Engagement: Organize volunteer initiatives and civic engagement opportunities that advance leadership skills and transition students into valuable community stakeholders

• College and Career Preparation: Engage students and families in college and career exploration and assist with college applications and employment preparation processes.

• Case Management Support: Monitor students’ identified needs and collaborate with various agencies to secure resources and referrals during adverse life events. LPP Advocates provide individualized support to students and families to develop positive support networks.

• Implemented and assisted in daily aquatic lessons for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades and Adaptive P.E. classes.

• Supervising, managing, teaching of WSI's and lifeguards at the pool.

• Organization, scheduling and communication of Community Swim and outside use of pool to community members.

• Aquatics Director/Supervisor for Fall and Spring Enrichments, Summer Enrichment-Water Safety Instructor

• Assistant Coach for Varsity Track and Field for Indoor and Outdoor , Assistant Coach for Modified Girls Cross Country.

• Specialization in the Throws area (shot put, discus, hammer, weight throw, and javelin).

• Organization and overseeing the Crusader Relays, O.C.I.A.A. Throwing Pentathlon and Hammer Championships and NY State Qualifier- Section 9 Meet, and NY State Cross Country Championships.
