Roles And Responsibilities

  • Assess all patients – determine whether the current treatment regime is appropriate and make changes accordingly.
  • Review assessment data and correlate with current plan of care.
  • Offer patient education, answer all inquiries concerning diagnosis and required ongoing treatment plans and medications.
  • Perform nebulizer treatments, ventilator care, oxygen supply, BIPAP/CPAP, ABGs and EKGs for hospital patients. To include providing patience and care while keeping patient stress at a minimum.
  • Emergency response to all high-risk delivery and codes and rapid response situations while assisting in critical care initiatives.
  • Fast paced environment in the hospital environment, providing team-oriented skill set that assist hospital staff and attending Physicians.
  • Delegate staff to see new patients, assist coworkers when needed, and assign workloads for oncoming shifts.
