Contacting vehicle location (dealerships, repair facilities, and impounds) to obtain needed information and attempt to negotiate fees so that Credit Acceptance can secure the vehicle at the most cost-efficient amount.
Maintain consistent communication with the repossession agents and the facility to ensure vehicles are recovered timely.
Training new hires within the department, and cross-training team members from other departments.
Processing and notarizing documents that are required to repossess the vehicles.
Promoted to a Senior Abandonment Specialist approximately a year after starting with CAC.
