My daily tasks consist of assigning housekeeping staff to specific shifts and room blocks based on abilities and daily requirements as well as myself, communicated repair needs to maintenance staff and boss trained and mentored all new personnel to maximize quality of service and performance, work with front desk to respond promptly to all guest requests, restock room supplies such as facial tissues, hand and body soaps, shampoos and conditioners, cleaning supplies, towels, bedding, and more. We dispose of trash and recyclables each day to avoid waste buildup. I conduct regular room inspections to verify compliance with housekeeping standard, and I ensure any guest complaints become resolved issues.
Manager of the fiberglass sewing department and assistant manager in our hunting saddle sewing
department. My position consisted of sewing heavy-duty materials as well as help research and develop
new jobs the company decides to implement into production. Help train new employees, make sure
they have plenty of materials for jobs they work on and making sure they are meeting the necessary
requirements to fulfill their day-to-day tasks. Assist with supply stock, cutting, measuring supplies, and
ensuring product/materials are accurately counted as well as sewing machines. Slab and cut, using and
setting up manual press to provide ready to sew product for employees.
Searched for loads our trucks could legally haul. Make sure company we would be booking with has good
payment history to ensure we are paid on time as well as reach out to non regular customers to make
sure our drivers had jobs. Communicated with drivers and personnel to coordinate timely delivery of goods and materials.
I used excel and outlook regularly everyday updating the shared site as well as communicating to other
dispatchers of any changes of routes or issues. Also, took calls from drivers having any truck, road, or
load issues and reported it to my team dispatchers. If a truck was broke down I would ensure help was on the way
and aware of each problem if they were unable to fix the issue themselves.
My daily tasks include accepting or declining a load regarding if I was able to find a truck to load and
deliver as requested. Maintained professional relationship with shippers, receivers and drivers to increase trust, reliability and rapport. I make sure every truck has a set appointment for each facility and kept track of
estimated times of arrival for loading and delivering, as well as entering shipping data into the system.
Once the load has been fully delivered I would then fully close the load and file it.
I was employed at this job as well as being a dispatcher before I became full time at Thomas and Sons. My
responsibilities included making Medical Pick ups and Deliveries to Hospice patients In Home Care. I
installed machines and equipment throughout WA & OR. I was my own personal contractor.
