• Duties include but are not limited to: referral initiation, rounding on existing/pending referrals, maintaining strategic relationships with staff across multiple hospitals, in-depth chart reviews across multiple EMRs, medical donor management, bedside nursing and respiratory management, hands on nursing and respiratory care in critical care environment, organ allocation, logistics regarding OR coordination, travel for OR teams and organs transport, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in surgical environment, ensuring proper packaging and documentation of organs prior to transport, and OR RN circulator duties.

Vascular Thoracic Step Down Unit - Gold Beacon Award for Excellence

• Care for patients with venous/arterial sheaths, proficient in management and removal of venous and arterial sheaths. Proficient in management and troubleshooting arterial lines, mediastinal and pleural chest tubes. Titration and monitoring of patients with multiple vasoactive intravenous medications. Care for patients undergoing venous and arterial thrombolytic therapy.
