"With the retirement of our Charge Nurse of many years, Samantha was asked to fill those shoes.  Samantha was already a compassionate nurse greatly respected by her peers and our patients.  With this added responsibility, Samantha has faced new challenges that are sometimes undaunting.  Samantha is always there when physicians run late making sure that patients, staff and providers have all the necessary personnel, resources and skills available to safely treat our patient's needs.   She empathetically takes patient calls over concerns.  She has collaborated with me on ideas for patient experience improvements and works tirelessly on our making sure that staffing is appropriately scheduled to cover all our clinic needs.  Losing a Charge Nurse for over 5 years can be a challenging situation for a clinic, however, Samantha made the transition effortlessly (at least to us) earning the respect of her fellow coworkers."
