  • Perform daily rounds on all equipment ensuring proper line up as well as report and troubleshoot any abnormal conditions that may be present
  • Control PH of water used in the Cooling towers, Boilers, Desalter, Pre-fraction, and crude tower as well as control rate of chemicals used to prevent corrosion and ensure longevity of equipment
  • Test water samples twice per shift and adjust based off results
  • Ensure all Chemical totes and vessels have adequate amounts of chemical and safely filling them
  • Write permits and perform LOTO for any equipment that must undergo service
  • Communicate with board operators to complete any task needed done
  • Attend meetings with Chemical company representatives on Chemical usage and results
  • Give input to management during MOC meetings to ensure safe operating standards and an increase to desired outcomes.
