I have lived in Georgetown my entire life, enjoying a small and peaceful world.
I attended Cooper Elementary, Forbes Middle School, and Georgetown High School.
I am currently working toward my teacher certification and a bachelor’s degree in secondary education.
I am hardworking, value communication, and enjoy both hands on learning and figuring things out independently.
The Regulation Stations is two things. Relax and Recharge. Relax is for students that need a safe place for getting back into a positive mind set. I give them 10 min to relax, then I check up on the students and see if he or she needs someone to talk to or someone that just needs to listen.
Recharge is for students that are not following the expectations in their current class and need to be sent out. This is a step before they are given a referral. They write a reflection sheet and ones they are done we then have a convections about what we can learn from this experience. This is given to the students for a opportunity to reflect on their actions and see what we can fix so this doesn't happen again and turn into a referral.
I like to set goals with the students for both. I check up on the them and observed to see if they are taking the right steps.
I work a lot with the counselors, administration, and teachers. I communicate when students need extra help or if I have any any questions.
