During my time as an ACA at the Pet Resource Center which has been for a year and three months, it has taught me a lot about what I want to do with my life when it comes down to career wise. It has taught me how to handle dogs and cats the correct way and how to be patient with the more difficult animals, most importantly trying to get them into their forever home, to show that we aren't here to hurt but to help them and do it in a fear free matter. It has also taught me to make them comfortable in an unknown place and how to take care of them properly.
