As a Mechanic I have many responsibilities, including, filling out work orders, maintenance reports, and ordering parts. At times of high call volumes I have also assisted with working in the office answering phone calls, along with helping set up route times/ route locations. We carefully organize our work orders and maintenance reports so we know exactly what has been done to each bus/school vehicle. Once a year we go through every bus and preform a Missouri safety inspection to insure the buses are safe and prepared to haul students. We check our parts inventory making sure we have all of the parts we need to set us up for repairs to be completed in a timely manor.
