I may not have much professional working experiences as I have always worked as a housekeeper with my mother, and most recently as a substitute paraeducator in elementary schools.

I have worked at local school districts for a few months as a substitute paraeducator and an instructional aid. As a substitute paraeducator, I have offered support to many elementary schools whether it be in an after school program, 1-5 grade class rooms, and in head-start/preschools. Fortunately, I am currently employed by Romoland School District as a Bilingual Aide. I offer support to students whom are ELA or only spanish speaking, as well as supporting teachers. At my current position I continue to grow and learn, most importantly on how to support both teachers and students so that academic growth and development can be made.

I had the opportunity to do my service learning at an elementary school in Carlsbad, mentoring the youth on a semester long project.
I was given the chance to intern at a non-profit organization, Rancho Damacitas, helping the single mothers and their children by offering child care and support in anyway that I could.
During an education course, I conducted my service learning at a middle school mentoring young children in an afterschool program.
I was currently a CASA for Voices for Children, throughout the Riverside county.
I am bilingual and fluent in both Spanish and English having the ability to speak, read, and write in both languages.
