  • Company Overview: Wren Windows is a window washing business.
  • I have worked here for fours years now. My second year I became a crew lead. I run and operate my own work van. We work in crews of 2 sometimes more depending on how big a job is. Every morning we get a schedule of how many jobs each crew has. Each crew does on average 2 to 3 houses a day. This company focuses mainly on residential window cleaning. We wash all different kinds of windows from combination storms to exterior removable storms or just plain double hung windows or crank outs. We also do gutter cleanings and pressure washing. As a crew lead I am responsible for my tech and for the job getting done in an efficient timely manner. This job involves a lot of communication with clients. As a crew lead I do all the ladder work required. I have to use ladders from as small as step ladders to 32 ft ladders. I am also MEWP(boom lift) certified. I have worked on the artistry lofts in downtown St.Paul right by chs field. We also water fed commercial buildings. I have to know how to check water quality and maintain our culligan filtration tanks. This job requires communication skills, labor skills, heavy lifting, ladder work, organizational skills, time management, driving skills, no fear of heights, safety precautions always.

  • I work closely connected with the online industry. I walk around the store and find items that people have ordered online I then proceed by bringing all of the items to the back into the warehouse.   • Wagging Tails Pet Resort is a dog hotel that houses anywhere from 20 dogs to 150 dogs. Being a lead play coach, I was in charge of the other employees that were on shift. As well as being in charge and responsible for any and all dogs that are at the hotel that day. I had to administer medications, as well as feed all the dogs. While the dogs were out of the rooms I had to deep clean them, so there rooms would get cleaned 3 times a day. That included, sweeping, moping, wiping down walls, cleaning dishes, and cleaning beds. We also deep cleaned the entire warehouse every shift before close. While watching the dogs, you were expected to clean up after any messes, pick up poop in the play yards, as well as spray the yards down. Being a play coach you were also expected to be able to breakup any dog fights, I have had to bring a couple dogs to the vet before. Most importantly though the job required that you, play, pet, snuggle, and give the dog gos all the love in the world and make them feel at home.
