• Review with manager at the the beginning of the shift to go over, new hires, load plans, and prepare for the work day

• Properly pre-trip the areas to make sure everything is in working order, unlock roll up doors, set up dock plates, turn on dock lights to ensure a safe work environment for the sorter.

• Check sorters brick load quality by performing SALTS and employee observations throughout the day

• Make sure pallets are being built properly with heavy boxes on the bottom and wrapped before moving the pallet to its proper destination

• Preparing TDR’s, updating them throughout the day , and turning them in at the proper deadlines

• Making sure everything is locked up properly at the end of the night and Do Not Enter chains are placed on all trailer doors

• Prepared orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling merchandise.
