This is the right choice for my career because not only am I ready to be challenged, I have succeeded in a very small territory with a revenue increase of over 35 percent! With the experience I have and the experience I gained, I know the revenue potential is endless. Knowing and experiencing my performance in my small territory, I am excited to be given the opportunity to take this next step in my career.
  • What experience do you feel you possess that prepares you to succeed in this role? My experience as an OSR, dispatcher, and CSR combined will help lead the store in utilization, AFRO, inventory, and operations! My experience gained in my current territory will strengthen my success in the applying territory. In the applying territory, the customer and local residents have already built a relationship with me, I am experienced in their work jobsites, employees and external expectations.

  • What would your current manager and co-workers say you need to improve in order to be successful in this role? Do not list learning job specific needs e.g. pursuit of war processes, the territory, your customer, etc. They might give me feedback by telling me that I cannot take my work home with me every day. That even though our job is a way a priority, to take a break every once in a while.
  • If we promoted you what are some specific steps you would take to develop the territory? I would start with all open rentals by analyzing open reports, inputting customer and job sites into the XLR8 and follow up with all customers then report. Offices within a territory are also a high priority so I would start with the top 50 and the offices on the watch list. This will maintain active customers while increasing the territory revenue with new rentals.

I would like to know how this would impact my personnel file. Would I have to switch or start over on my truck reimbursement program? Would transitioning by working other territories so customers are not abandoned? (not required due to commissions, would it be allowed for a couple of weeks?)
