Commercial loan associate. I would gather all of the information and documentation to create the loan docs for the commercial lenders. Programs we used include SageWorks, Director, Laser Pro, Navigator, Simplifile, NDRIN and Service link.
I would order title work, the flood determination, and occasionally an appraisal for the current loan I would be working on. I work closely with the lender to make sure we had everything for closing.
I also did the post-close of the loan. I would record the documents that needed to be, uploading to our system all of the documents, contact title companies, make sure insurance is set up, and make sure all collateral was filed correctly.
Related to the loan, a few other things I did to make sure we were in compliance was full credit reports, request UCC lien searches, check evidence of good standing, and read through corporate documents to make sure we had every thing in order.
Aside from my loan associate position, I was part of the United Way committee. I helped set up our campaigns every year, and I was involved in any way I could. I was specifically in charge of the school supply drive. I was also part of the event planning committee for our region. We would get prizes together, reserve chairs and tables if needed, contact local entertainment options if needed and was a main contact for events.
I had been training new loan associates on all of our programs. I had become one of the top contacts when other loan associates had questions.
When I first started working for them it was at Fargo Title, formerly known as US Title. At this job I had been the office administrator. I would record documents, schedule closings with other title companies, occasionally sit in on closings if the closer was unavailable. I also had done other related administrative duties.
They closed Fargo Title and had moved me over to the Mortgage Company. Here I was a loan processor. I worked closely with the lenders to make sure we had everything for closing. I also ran the day-to-day operations of the business.
When they closed The Mortgage Company they had moved me over to Craig Properties and CP Business Management. Here I was in charge of the day today office administrative duties as well as contacting tenants for late payments or other issues that had come up.
