As the young woman I am I feel that no matter what challenges life tends to throw my way, my resilient and ambitious spirit always leads me back to the top. As a young teenager I was very excited to start working as soon as I could, to make my own money. Growing up and learning to be an independent adult, the many different work experiences I’ve had, had always left a lasting impression on me, whether that be my colleagues, or the customers and guest I interacted with, I was always taught something new to carry me throughout my next journey. I am grateful for my experiences and I’m definitely open and ready for new opportunities.
My starting position at First Convenience Bank was a Senior Personal Banker, as the role of the face of the bank it required me to always provide excellent customer service while conducting routine financial transactions.
Another role I worked hard on was of course to keep focus on consistently delivering excellent customer service, having accuracy in all my transactions, demonstrating leadership, and expressing a desire for growth to get a Branch Supervisor position. After 6 months of being a personal banker, I was successfully promoted to a Branch Supervisor.
I made it a priority to understand the bank’s policy’s, products, and services, which allowed me to answer customers questions effectively and build strong relationships with our members. Of course being a supervisor it was very important for me to maintain trust and reliability. I kept and built strong relationships with my customers and my team which helped us consistently meet and exceed performance targets.
My starting position at Melloy Honda was a Service Advisor. This requires me to be the communications between the customer and the service team. My primary responsibility was to ensure customers receive a seamless and positive experience when bring in their vehicles for maintenance or repair.
Another role I took on at Melloy Honda was to detail different vehicles which were either traded in, being freshly bought, brand new off the trucks, or just a customer detail. This role involves meticulous attention to detail and knowledge of cleaning techniques for both the interior and exterior of vehicles.
At the Olive Garden restaurant, my position was a bartender and server. My role was delivering exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and engaging with guests to ensure a positive dining and drinking experience. Some key components include ensuring compliance with all alcohol service laws by verifying IDs and monitoring guest consumption levels. As well as maintaining a clean and organized bar, collaborating with servers, kitchen staff, and management. Expertly mixed and served a variety of alcoholic beverages, as well as serve and take meal orders, and just overall ensuring an enjoyable dining experience.
