At Precision Machine Fabrication I am in charge of powder coat painting various parts for a clean and presentable finishing product. I utilize blueprints for the correct paint color and masking or plugging directions. I am able to do rework and change paint settings accordingly. I can also perform other duties in the paint department like phosphating, sanding, masking, and packaging.
At Target I was part of the backroom team which was responsible for receiving shipments, unloading, stocking, inventory, and customer service. This was a very fast paced and organized operation for maximum time efficiency and replenishment for the customers. We worked as a team to stock the shelves and handle customer questions at the same time. I used RF scanners to locate merchandise, and also in determining if we need to pull more product to the floor from the backroom.
Industrial painter was a Paint line type of set up where production was very high volume and fast paced. I started off loading parts to the paint line where it would run its course to the paint prep, wash, paint booths, and finally the oven. Heavy lifting, endurance and multitasking were key in the loader department. I moved to the paint booth shortly after and painted large amounts of parts including Redbox movie rentals, and Walmart registers. I also helped out in the assembly departs towards the end of the close of the company.
