Leader of a seasoned group of marketers with a proven track record of YoY demand generation performance globally of an average of 110% across products, programs, and digital marketing initiatives. In CY23, the global campaigns and programs I lead created a 12% increase in engagement from CY22 to CY23, generated a 16% SYB increase per contact across all segments from CY22 to CY23, created a 19% increase in organic traffic of unknown contacts that converted to known and have already generated $127M in pipeline that is schedule to close by Q3 in CY24.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • In conjunction with product marketing and corporate marketing leadership, develop and evolve global demand generation strategy and execution model to support corporate business objectives
  • Lead a seasoned team of 10 senior marketing managers, providing development, mentorship, and leadership across the team
  • Collaborate with Marketing Ops, Marketing Communications, Portfolio Marketing, and Digital demand teams to build an effective, end-to-end demand generation strategy aligned to the go-to-market framework

  • Creating the marketing strategy. Responsible for creating the marketing strategy that aligns with the company's overall objectives. This includes identifying target markets, defining key messaging and positioning, and creating a comprehensive marketing plan that outlines tactics to achieve business goals.
  • Branding and positioning: Establishing a strong brand and position in the market is crucial for success. This included the process of changing the organization name and leading that transition plan from 10gen, Inc. to MongoDB during my tenure.
  • Building and managing marketing campaigns and initiatives. Led the team in planning, executing, and measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives. This involved utilizing various marketing channels such as digital advertising, content marketing, social media, email marketing, events, and public relations to reach target audiences and generate leads.
  • Analytics and data-driven decision making: In a startup environment, resources are limited, and every marketing effort must be measured for its impact.
  • Reporting results to our key stakeholders from the various Venture Capital groups that funded to executives and leaders across the organization.
